With 26 years of experience as a licensed Financial Advisor, Lavon focuses his efforts on helping individuals, families, and businesses create a successful road map to pursue their financial goals.
Lavon believes his role as Advisor is three-fold:
1. Help clients define their financial future
2. Develop a strategic plan to pursue those goals
3. Help clients remain committed to those long-term objectives
Additionally, he can assist clients in uncovering unforeseen risks and develop ways to mitigate those risks.
In 1997 Lavon chose to establish his own company--Asset & Investment Advisors--and become an Independent Financial Advisor. He feels that independence gives him more objectivity and a greater choice of options in finding strategies for his clients. He offers a variety of investment tools: stocks and bonds, mutual funds, annuities, life insurance, Certificates of Deposit, and other investments. Lavon is also licensed as an Investment Advisor Representative, providing investment management through fee-based accounts.
His broker/dealer, Osaic Wealth, Inc. offers services to independent financial advisors throughout the U.S.,and has awarded Lavon the distinction of being a member of the Presidents and Achievers Council every year since 2000*.
Lavon and Deann, his wife of 42 years, have three children. Lavon enjoys spending his free time working at his blueberry farm, fly-fishing for trout, and hunting. He is a past president of the Poteau Rotary Club, is active in his church, and currently serves as a member of the City of Poteau Planning Commission, LeFlore County Development Coalition, and Carl Albert State College Board of Regents.
